Flower Curtain Decor Tip

I took pictures of curtains used in our Parish's event earlier this October. I think the organizers made beautiful DIY curtains to make the banquet lovely. Details of this Decor Tip can be found in my fabric flower tutorial website.

Fabric Flower Projects of the Week

Last week, I made two flower projects that I will soon incorporate in my fabric flower pattern collection. Aside from that, I am also creating a free hair bow tutorial (yay!) after I finish my ring pillow tutorial. I thought of making it with a birdcage veil but I think it would look more busy than flamboyant.

I'm naming this flower Summer Amelie.

I hope you liked my new designs!

New Fabric Flower Tutorial: Mayumi Rose

Last week, I finished creating the Mayumi Rose Tutorial.  Inspired by the art of Origami, this flower looks so intricate and complicated but they are so easy to make!  And yes, this flower does not need any sewing! I hope you'll get to try my tutorial and have fun making the Mayumi Rose.

One Sweet Afternoon With Baby Tala

I noticed one of the toys given to me by my aunt from the States when I was still a baby.  I named her Tala which means "star" in Filipino.  I made my fabric flowers into Baby Tala's  headbands and I think Baby Tala was happy to wear the fabric flowers.

Bead Embroidery Embellishment

I made this bead embroidery a few months ago.  I used these ornate premade patterns seamstress usually use to decorate the cape of the Infant Jesus or the cape of Mother Mary.   I used some seed beads, rhinestones, and pastel pink glass pearls.  It actually took me the whole day to finish this.  I might try making patterns for bead embroidery in the future.  :)
At the background of the bead embellished patch are the Millinery  Hand Pressed Roses that you can learn to create from my instant download website.
